Senior solicitor, Julian Gaskin, leads our Regulatory Law.   With over 30 years experience Julian’s team has gained vast experience working alongside large organisations such as Environment Agency, Trading Standards, Health Care Products Regulatory Agency, Health and Safety Executives and HM Revenue and Customs.

Solicitor, Max Hornigold specialises in Employment Law, Personal Injury, Civil Claims and Police Law. Max has dealt with a wide range of Employment Law matters, both for the Employer and for the Employee. These matters include but are not limited to Unfair Dismissal Claims, Wrongful Dismissal Claims, Age/Race/Disability Discrimination, Redundancy, Harassment Claims and breaches of the Human Rights Act. He is also experienced in dealing with settlement agreements.

Ciara Smith has worked in the legal profession for a number of years, qualifying as a Police Station Accredited Representative in 2011 and as a Solicitor in 2017. Ciara specialises in criminal defence and police misconduct matters.  She defends clients on behalf of the Police Federation of England & Wales, representing Police Officers in criminal, employment and police discipline procedures.

Formerly a Duty Solicitor in the Police Station and Magistrates Court, Ciara has a wealth of experience dealing with a wide range of cases from offences of murder, assault and sexual allegations to motoring offences. Ciara has experience in presenting cases of Special Reasons and Exceptional Hardship in circumstances where potential driving disqualifications may arise. Being accused of a criminal offence and/or misconduct can be an intimidating experience and Ciara is able to be to provide clients with professional and accurate advice whilst ensuring the client feels supported and reassured so that the best possible outcome is achieved.

Danielle Hewitt has worked in the legal profession for 20 years, qualifying as Police Station Representative in 2003, a CILEX Advocate in 2010 and a Duty Solicitor in 2012. Danielle specialises in Criminal Defence and Police Misconduct.  She is a Trial advocate and has gained substantial experience over the years representing Clients in the Magistrates Court and Youth Court.  Danielle is known for her approachable manner  and decisive approach in getting the best possible result for her clients.

Danielle has extensive knowledge and experience dealing with a wide range of Criminal Offences including Complex fraud matters, Murders and serious Assaults, Large drug conspiracies and Sexual offences. Danielle has a keen interest in Road Traffic Law and has successfully represented many Clients throughout her career in legal arguments and Trials in this area.

Imogen Cox is a Solicitor-Advocate specialising in criminal defence and motoring law and takes on a full range of cases, from complex drug matters to sexual offences and murder. Her motoring cases range from complex drink driving matters, up to and including serious and fatal motoring cases in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. She has a proven track record for saving client’s driving licenses even in the most complex and challenging cases.

Mark Lennard is a Legal Clerk at Taylor Law. Having served 30 years with the Police, Mark gained a vast knowledge of Criminal Law and was a highly experienced Police Investigator within CID and other specialist roles dealing with serious and complex matters.

He has investigated an extensive range of criminal offences on a local, national and international level and has been the Senior Investigating Officer in his role as Detective Sergeant both within Cleveland Police and the National Crime Squad.
